Mike Newton
Owner/Founder
Mike is a trusted and tested lawyer. He spent a majority of his career as a partner in a large law firm where he represented national insurers, 'big box' retail stores, national restaurant chains and other major corporations and businesses. From automobile accidents, slip and fall incidents, workers compensation claims and dog bite cases to defective products and tractor-trailer accidents, Mike has a broad range of trial and litigation experience. He has handled matters throughout Tennessee and Georgia and in numerous other states.
Mike's hard work and commitment has earned him recognition from his clients, his peers and the legal industry. He is one of a small number of lawyers who has been designated as a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has also been recognized as a Mid-South Super Lawyer since 2013.
Mike's practice is now focused on helping individuals and families who have been injured or suffered a loss due to the fault or negligence of another person or company. Mike's 'inside' expertise and knowledge gives his clients the advantage needed to secure full compensation for their injuries and losses.

Charlie's 25+ years of litigation experience brings further depth and experience to The Newton Firm. Charlie honed his expertise as a litigator from his years as a partner in a respected southeastern law firm. He has handled a broad range of cases from workers' compensation claims to premises liability matters, business disputes and automobile accidents. His analytical and insightful approach to legal disputes, along with his strong negotiation skills, has earned him wide respect as a tireless and zealous advocate. Charlie also currently serves as the Mayor of Signal Mountain, Tennessee.
